What can I find here at this site?
Mostly, this site houses my Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel fanfiction, usually focusing on the Buffy/Angel pairing.  But you can also find various user icons for Livejournal, AIM, and MSN here as well as some other odd and ends like my Nora Roberts booklist, Livejournal moodthemes, etc.

Where did the site name come from?
Well...I guess it came from my email address, vagabond_angel.  When I switched ISPs, I picked that as an email address because I like the word 'vagabond' and I thought it was fitting for the show, and the character Angel.  So when I renamed my site, I worked with that, and 'Vagabond Soul' just sounded right.  Loosely translated, it would be 'Wondering Soul'.

Who makes the graphics on this site?
All graphics on this site were made by me using Adobe Photoshop.  The various SMG, DB, BtVS, Angel, and other pictures used to make my graphics came from various places on the internet.

Where does the name 'Isis FG' come from?
Once upon a time, many many years ago, I started using the name 'Flyergirl' online.  I picked that because I'm a huge fan of the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team.  I used that name for quite a long time, and actually still actively use it.  But when I got involved in the BtVS fandom, and posting fanfiction, it just didn't seem like a good penname.  So I worked on coming up with a penname.  Originally, I went by the name 'Isis Blue'.  The Isis part is from the Egyptian goddess Isis...I only picked it because I like the name, and the Blue part was just because I like the color blue.  Unfortunately, after choosing the name and using for a half year or so, I came to find out that there is also a porn star name Isis Blue.  Now, I don't have anything against porn or porn stars, but I didn't like sharing the name.  I considered changing it, but that seemed too confusing.  Eventually, though, I shifted to calling myself 'Isis aka Flyergirl' which combined my two online name.  Doing that helped equate Isis the B/A writer with Flyergirl, my LJ name since most people didn't make the connection.  However, going by Isis aka Flyergirl was tedious.  So I shortened it to 'Isis FG', where the FG stands for Flyergirl.  And that's where the name comes from.  I have no plans for changing it again.  I like Isis FG :)

When did I start writing fanfiction?
I didn't start watching BtVS until just before s6 started, but I got hooked quickly.  Then while looking up information on the show, I came across fanfiction, which I'd never before heard of.  I started my first fic in very late 2001.  It was not B/A, and has long since been abandoned and forgotten.  During the Spring of 2002, I started writing on The Lost, but only worked on it sporadically through the Summer of 2002.  It wasn't until the Fall/Winter of 2002 that I began writing regularly, and that was also the first time I began posting.  My first posted fic was Forever Begins Again, which went up at fanfiction.net in December of 2002.

Why did I start writing fanfic?
Mostly because of what the show's writers did to Buffy/Angel.  They built up this amazing star-crossed, soulmates thing and then systematically crushed it, along with our hearts.  I hated what they did to the characters and the love between them.  And then I started reading some wonderful B/A fanfic by authors like Jill, Michelle, and Tango.  I loved the stories they told, and the happy endings they created.  I've always loved to write, so one day I decided to try my hand at writing fanfic.  So that's how I got started.

Why do I include 'started', 'completed' and length information with my fic information?
Those are a result of all of the reading of others fanfic I have done.  Often when I read a fic, I'm curious as to when it was written.  Was it written 4 years ago, or recently?  Did they write it right after that part of canon occurred or did they go back and pick some spot in canon?  So I decided to include that information for my fics.  As for length, I just think its nice to know how long something is.  It helps to know sometimes if you can read a fic in one sitting or if you are going to have to do it over a few days because of it's length.

Can I nominate fic *** at site ***?
Short answer:  no. 
Long answer:  Awards are great.  I've got nothing against them, and don't mind receiving them even though it's not the reason I write.  I just have this thing about nominating myself for an award.  I'm not comfortable with it.  However, you're free to nominate any of my fics, or my site, if you want to.  I don't mind.

Who do I secretly 'ship?
Buffy/Oz.  Yes, that's strange, but I just love the idea of them together.  I also secretly lust after Angel/Buffy/Spike *g*

Do I watch any other shows or 'ship any other pairings?
I watch a few other shows: Bones, Law & Order SVU, and Missing. Even so, I don't expect to ever get as involved in another show as I have with BtVS. So don't plan on seeing any non-BtVS fanfic from me.
