Every time I travel I keep a journal. I write down my impressions of a city, what I did and any interesting stories I had for that day. Keeping a journal is also a good way to meet people because they come up to you and ask you about it. Especially if it is in some sort of fancy notebook. This past summer my travel plans got messed up so I sat down, went through my journals and started writing some stories. Someday I would like to have them published, with pictures, however for now I am content with them on the Internet. I will try to add to these this summer. Currently they are by date.
