The Vision Quest

This vision came to me while I was participating  in a shamanistic practice called “Trance Drumming.” With the soft repetitive, rhythmic beat of the drums, you to let your mind wander.  You see incredible visions and develop greater insight into the questions you ponder.

During this vision quest,  I “met” a giant, benevolent  being created  entirely of stars  and galaxies. She  was striding through the moonlit forest before rising up to the sky. I was the only human who witnessed her passage that evening. A roosting falcon, whose repose was disturbed flew off abruptly, leaving a feather in its wake.
