Whenever I hear the term "Season's Greetings" I ask (in my head, to be polite), "What season?  Spring?  Summer?  Fall?  Winter?"  And when I hear "Happy Holidays" I say (again, just in my head), "Please specify which holiday.  I celebrate lots of them."  I pity those who avoid the word Christmas because it has the word Christ in it.  And I prefer being merry to being merely happy or receiving simply a greeting.  I celebrate Christmas, and in fact, lots of holidays.

If you would like to celebrate the nearest holiday with me, here are some webpages that I have prepared for some of the holidays.  I hope you enjoy them, each in their appointed season.

   St. Valentine's Day

   St. Patrick's Day

   Easter

   Pentecost

   Independence Day

   Halloween

   Thanksgiving

   Christmas

If you would like to go back to the Family page, here is a button for you.

P.S.: I know that there really are not any "holy days" and that all days are equally important (Romans 14:5; Colossians 2:16-17).  I celebrate the holidays because it is fun and the traditions are beautiful, not out of any obligation.  If you have a different view, all that matters to me is that you honor the Lord.
