The Resurrection
The story of Christ does not end in defeat, but in victory. After His sufferings
came His resurrection, in promise that after our sufferings will come our resurrection.
Death could not hold Him, and for our sake and the sake of love He rose again.
Here is that glorious event depicted by an unknown illustrator and a second
depiction by the mystical Blake.

And El Greco has two excellent paintings also showing the fear of the soldiers who
were guarding his tomb (to keep His disciples from stealing the body and claiming falsely
that He had risen).

Rembrandt also did an awesome painting of the resurrection of Jesus:

Following is a painting by Burne-Jones, a Victorian artist, of The Morning of the
Resurrection. It shows the two angels at the tomb, the risen Jesus, and Mary
Magdelene, first to see the risen Christ.
