This site should be used by HRMS Chorus students to prepare for songs being rehearsed in our Chorus Class.

Why the website                                                                                                                                                    The student should use their music binders and concentrate on the melody instrument (usually a flute).  Much of the time, phrasing and dynamics in these electronic recordings do not resemble what we have rehearsed in class!  These recordings are additional support on melodic and harmonic recognition.   

You will need an audio program on your computer (such as real player or quick time player) and speakers or headphones connected to your computer to hear these examples.

Do you Want to improve you grade?                                                                                                                                                                Even though everyone is expected to use this site to improve their choral performance it is not assigned as "Homework".  However, students who wish to improve their grade in chorus may submit via email ( or through "contact") their individual practice.  They MUST include the following: a) What song(s) they practiced, b) for how long, c) which section(s) of the song(s) did they work on mostly (measure numbers or rehearsal numbers).  Students may receive up to 5 points on a performance grade per time spent using the website.
