Nan Gardiner
04/29/08 18:46
Please
pray for Nan Gardiner. She is having what Jimmy
described as "an emergency hysterectomy" today.
Apparently her doctor has found a tumor. I'm
sorry I don't have any more information than this and
I'm getting this from Jamey who talked with
Jimmy---and men are not the best at getting the
details! When I get more information I'll pass
it along.
Thanks!
Susan
UPDATE:
Updated info on Nan---she is having a hysterectomy today, but what Jimmy described as a tumor is a fibroid tumor and is benign. This sounds much better than what I had originally, but still say a prayer for her.
Susan
Thanks!

Ervin Watford
04/26/08 07:44
Please be
in prayer for my dad, Ervin Watford. He was
hospitalized for severe prostate problems, which
closed off the bladder and was shutting down the
kidneys. Doctors say if he had waited any longer, it
would have killed him. He hates hospitals with a
passion, and as he improves physically, he is
becoming more difficult to deal with. He does not
want to stay or cooperate with those trying to heal
him. My mother, Frances Watford, is becoming confused
and now we are concerned about leaving her alone. My
sisters, Gail and Peggy, and I all need your prayers
as well, as we try to deal with all of this.
Thank you so much for your prayers!

Sherry Belew
04/15/08 21:39
Sherry Belew has been
admitted to ECM Hospital this afternoon. She
has dehydrated. (This is all Betty, her mother
was told!) I've talked to Betty and Judy.
Judy took Sherry to Dr. Hobbs, who sent her straight
to the hospital. Her kidneys had shut down.(Do
NOT tell this to Betty), and she was
dehydrated. Her blood pressure was lower than
normal. Sherry is in room 670. She is not
feeling well enough for visitors at this time
according to Judy.
Pray for Sherry's healing, wisdom for her doctors, and peace for Betty and Judy.
Martha Miller
UPDATE: 04/16/2008
Sherry is still not well enough for phone calls and visits. She wants to be left alone to sleep. She did eat half a sandwich tonight and drank six ounces of ginger ale--the first in a couple of days. They gave her a pint of blood today which may have her feeling better by toomorrow. Her kidneys are still not having enough output. Continue to pray!
Martha
UPDATE: 04/17/2008
Sherry is doing better! Her doctor called in a kidney specialist to determine whether she needed to begin dialysis and he said to give her time. She seems to be improving on her own. She still has trouble wanting to eat or drink anything. She began feeling yucky while in rehab and just did not want to eat or drink anything for a while. She is trying to eat in order to get better.
If you want to visit her, I believe she is up to short visits now. She is a blessing to the nursing staff just like she is to all of us!
Sherry's mother, Betty, is aware of all Sherry's problems now. She is upset that she cannot be at the hospital with her girl, but at 98 years young she does not get out.
Continue praying for Sherry, Betty, and Judy.
