Katie Burdette
07/30/08 18:42
Linda Persall asked
that we keep praying for Katie, and her
family. If you have read the website, you know
Katie came home to Huntsville yesterday. Lesley
has written details of yesterday and today.
Linda says it was a blessing to hear Katie say Mommy
a couple of times. Even with the lows and
scares the family has endured, there seems to be a
good bit of brain activity. To God be the Glory
for miracles that have already happened in Katie's
life. Praise God for all other miracles to be
seen.

I have a close friend

tonight. Please lift up all
parties involved. They want to handle
the situation in God's Perfect Will, and God's
perfect timing. They want to feel Holy Spirit

Rev. Terry Greer
07/22/08 07:39
Rev.
Terry Greer, minister of First UMC, Decatur, AL,
suffered a "moderate heart attack" on Sunday morning
between services. Doctors at Decatur General put in
two stents successfully. Heart disease runs in
Terry's family and he said that what he suffered is
called a "family" related heart attack (low HDL- the
good cholesterol). In Rev. Terry's own words earlier
today: "Well...I Live! Thanks
be to God."
--And the Alabama Emmaus comminity responds, "Thanks be to God!"

Amy Killen's Sister, Richelle
07/14/08 22:04
We
just heard from our daughter-in-law, Amy, that her
sister, Richelle, is in CCU. She had a baby last
Wednesday and has been feeling worse and worse since
then. They are putting in a port tonight so they can
start treatment. She has either Thrombotic
thrombocytopenic purpura or Hemolytic-uremic
syndrome. She is very upset right now. This is life
threatening but with the proper treatment there is a
98% survival.
Also pray for Amy's parents. They are keeping all 5 of her children including Baby Connor.

URGENT!
I just received an email from my aunt that Kate's condition has worsened and the family have been called in to say goodbye. It's not too late for a miracle! Please continue to lift up this precious 7-year-old, her parents Lesley & Darryl, brother Wen and grandparents Linda & Vance Persall.
God bless,
Sandra
See the web page set up for her at http://caringbridge.org/al/katiemay/
UPDATE: 07/15/2008
Please pray for our Lord to go against all the medical odds and save our Katie May's life. The doctors are very grim in telling us that she cannot live. However, one doc did say that only God Almighty could save her. We are bombarding Him with prayers to give her another miracle.
If you haven't accessed her website, please do. The people from all around the world who have posted on it will truly make your heart rejoice to know so many who love our Lord.

I know the Emmaus community is meeting right now and I know that your hearts are heavy for us. Only through all the prayers of Godly people is she alive right now.
Blessings and prayers to all of you,
Linda Persall

Vikki Reich
07/13/08 22:10
URGENT!
Please pray for Vikki Reich as she undergoes surgery tomorrow at UAB to remove a mass from her lung. Also, pray for peace and comfort for her and Phillip.
UPDATE: 07/15/2008
Tonight at the Shoals Cluster, Rosemary shared that a mass was found on each lung. Doctors took the ams on one side out, and left the other to be treated with chemo. I am not sure I got all the info just right, but I do know Vikki needs our prayers. Please continue to hold her before the Lord.
Vic
UPDATE: 07/17/2008
The following is some updated information concerning Vikki Reich from Lynn Littrell: Vikki had several nodules removed from her right lung. The doctor purposely left a few nodules in the left lung to see how they respond to chemo. If they shrink, they will continue with that particular treatment. If they don't, he will change the treatment. If nothing seems to work, he will remove them. They are very tiny and very confined to one area. The doctor is very optimistic that he can treat these.
Please keep praying---God hears & answers our prayers!

Praise: Daniel Pedigo
07/03/08 23:20
My sister's grandson,
Daniel, was in need of a liver transplant and PRAISE
THE LORD, last night he received one. He is doing
much better than they expected at this point. He is
breathing on his own and was watching TV this
afternoon. He will be in Vanderbilt hospital for at
least two months. Please pray that his body will not
reject his new liver and that he will continue to
heal. Thank you all for your prayers. God Bless!
Bonnie
UPDATE: 07/08/2008
Just an update on my sister's grandson, Daniel. After receiving his new liver, he is doing sooooooo well. He is exceeding all of the doctor's expectations. He is now in his own room and if all goes well will move into the Ronald McDonald House in two weeks. Thank you for all of your prayers. If you would like to send a card to him, his address will be below. I know it would thrill him to get a lot of cards while he is there. Again, GOD bless you for your prayers.
