Ralph Cantrell was on
my table on Walk 319. He was working in Springville,
but lives in Savannah GA. Please remember his wife as
she goes in for surgery. This is a note he recently
sent to the Table of John. Thanks! Vic
Dear Brothers,
Sorry it has taken so long to respond. I have been thinking about you guys at the table of John. Life is good over here in Savannah. Just working alot of hours and serving at the Church. Please pray for my wife. She has to go in for surgery next Thursday. I don't know when I'll be back in Springville. I'll just have to let everyone know when I know. Thanks for writing back to me. I don't want the friendships to fade away.
YFIC,
Ralph

This is
to update those of you who knew and to inform those
of you you did not know...
I broke the upper bone in my left arm really bad on Sunday May 6. I had surgery in Huntsville on Wedensday May 16, and have been staying wtih my brother in Gurley, AL. I am so much better than I was and thought that I would be at this point. I still have a ways to go and keep the pain pills handy, although it is more discomfort that pain.
Actually, I am typing this myself, WHY?...because I can, and am so proud that I can...
I want to say such a deeply heartfelt THANK YOU for your prayers and concerns, calls and cards and flowers. I believe my speedy recovery is a result of the many praying friends and relatives I have who have stormed Heaven on my behalf...God is good, His mercy endures, and He is gracious beyond our understanding. As I do therapy, I look toward the day that I can again raise my whole arm to Heaven in adoration of the Great God I serve and His Son who saved me and made my healing possible. Again, thank you for your prayes and I continue to covet them as I recover.
I plan to go home to Marlene's (sister) Saturday. I will be talking to many of you soon...

Joy and Charlie
05/22/07 21:51
Vic, Joy
and Charlie are in our cluster. His procedures are in
the morning at 7:30.
Patsy Killen
Charlie will enter the hospital Tueaday AM for his heart cath. The Dr. plans to repair anything that can be repaired with stints. But it is possible he will need by-pass surgery. This will be decided during the heart cath. He will then get a pacemaker and also have carotid artery surgery on both arteries. We will be at ECM Hospital. I will try to keep you informed of what is decided. Your prayers are needed. Thanks Joy Dykes

Dear
prayer warriors,
Please pray for my mother, Jackie Williams. She is at the doctor's office right now because she is bleeding internally. We hope it is just from the Celebrex she is taking, but we don't know for sure. I'll email again when I know more. I appreciate your prayers!!
Susan Cosby
UPDATE: Thanks everyone for praying for my sweet mother. We've learned this morning the bleeding is from an ulcer which can be treated with medication. Dr. Haggstrom is going to do an x-ray of her colon just to make sure nothing is going on there. She is still in ICU today. Hopefully when this is healed she'll be able to gain some weight back. She is a very small little lady and currently weighs less than 100 pounds and needs to gain some pounds.
Keep praying!!!

Vikki Reich
05/17/07 20:30
Many of you know Vikki and Philip Reich from the Moulton Cluster. I ask you to please pray for Vikki as she has recently learned she has breast cancer. The lump is very small, about 1.5 centimeters and her doctor believes it to be stage 1. She has an appointment to see a surgeon in Birmingham on May 8. Please keep Vikki and Philip in your prayers! We know the power of His prayer warriors from the Shoals!!!
Susan Cosby
Update: I have heard, unofficially, that Vikki went to the doctor and was told they believe they caught it in time, it is very small, and they expect to get it all. Praise God! Let's keep her in prayer! Vic
Morgan Young
05/10/07 21:06
Please pray for my
granddaughter Morgan. I kept her for a while
yesterday and she was not feeling well, had a fever,
and couldn't breath well. Went to the doctor today
and she has strep throat and bronchitis(not sure
about spelling). But, please pray for healing for her
and that I don't get it. I was kissing all over her
yesterday.

Bonnie
and I have been praying for her son, Terry Young, to
get a better job and get his life back together. That
opportunity seems to have presented itself in an
opening with another company that would give him
about a $5,000 a year raise and a company car, and
not have him traveling all over the country side
every week. We want God's will here, but this looks
like such a good opportunity. Please pray that God's
will be done, and if possible that this job would be
his. There is one person ahead of him with the
opportunity to transfer into it, but we are praying
he decides not to make the move from Knoxville TN.
Thank-you for your prayers! Vic Watford
