She is still in recovery, but will move into her room shortly, where she will be till Friday. Thomas says to thank everyone for their prayers. If you would like to send a note or call, her address is: Beverly Martin, Brookwood Women's Medical Plaza, Room 335, 2010 Brookwood Medical Center Drive, Birmingham AL 35209. I don't have the phone number to her room, but the center's number is (205) 877-1000.

JAMEY COSBY
JAMEY
Dear Prayer Warriors,
Please say a prayer for Jamey today. He is scheduled to have an arteriogram this afternoon. He has been having some chest pain and had a stress test done on 8/10. It showed some type of abnormality, but they were unsure what it was exactly, so his cardiologist has decided to do an arteriogram. We covet and appreciate your prayers!
Susan Cosby

UPDATE 08/27/2007
Give God the Glory! No problems were found with Jamey's heart!! We still need to find where the chest pain is coming from, so please keep him in your prayers.
Decolores,
Susan Cosby

Avery Alderettes's son, Jonathan
This is some very sad news.  Kathy Alderette called tonight saying that Avery's son, Jonathan, was killed in a motor cycle wreck this afternoon in Georgia.  He was 23 and the son that had come home from Iraq in December.

She's going to let us know when the arrangements are.  They are bringing him here for burial as there is no other family in Georgia except for his mother.  When we know more, we could get together and send a plant or take some food if you would like to.  She said her neighbors and Magnolia were bringing food the next couple of days.

Please pray that God will give them comfort as only He can.

Ivory Warren
I talked to Gloria and Ivory Warren today. Ivory is in treatment for prostate cancer and diabetes. He recently was in the hospital to have a toe removed due to the diabetes. Gloria was worked on several Emmaus Walks, the most recent being a New Covenant Walk. Ivory is considering going on one. I invited him to join us at the August meeting, and with his permission, I am sending this request for his healing. Please remember Ivory and Gloria in prayer. Perhaps we will see God work in mighty way in time for a praise report at the August meeting!
