Please pray for my niece, Lisa Cunningham, who was born with a congenital heart defect. She has had many surgeries. Her blood pressure was 54/27 this weekend with a lot of pressure on her chest. Ask God to give her doctors wisdom and for healing.

Please pray for Diana Hurst. She was admitted to ICU at HKH today. Running tests to rule out certain things but suspect it is Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Sever breathing problems and numbness of the extremities. She was transported to UAB in Birmingham for more tests. Please pray for her and her family.

She's been diagnosed with and started treatment for Gillian-Barre Syndrome. She will likely get worse before she gets better, but she will get better. Doc says recovery will likely be 12 weeks or so.

Diana had a rough night. Fluid gathers in her throat and has to be drawn out regularly.

Good Morning!
Thought I'd better get an e-mail out as I am in need of your support, prayers, and encouragement once again. I was let go last Friday from the doctor's office.  It really has been a tough few months, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.  I won't go into all of the gory details but it is in my best interest to be separated from that kind of environment.  With that being said, I am in need of a full time job.  In the mean time, if any of you have odd jobs I can do please let me know.

 C.  J. Smith is a 7 year-old who is in critical condition at Eggleston Children’s Hospital, Atlanta.
He and my grandson, Parker, are classmates at Trinity School, Cartersville, GA.

Please pray for my great niece, Caroline Renn.  She is in the hospital with pneumonia (since last Tues) and not responding to previous treatments... Praying for healing.  Brother Gavin and Sister Emily are at home now and doing good. ---- Triplets born July 4th this year.

Tommy Curry (Emmaus Walk 229) died Saturday evening with pneumonia.  His graveside service will be at 1:00, Wednesday, at Oakwood Cemetery  in Sheffield. Please pray for Jean Burns (Emmaus Walk number ?), who is having serious abdominal surgery tomorrow morning beginning at 8 am.  The surgery will be at Vanderbilt Hospital and probably will last from 6 to 8 hours.  She will be in the hospital one or two weeks, depending on her recovery time. Please pray for her, the surgeons and others in attendance, husband Macon, and her family.  In His love and mine, Elaine
UPDATE:
I got a call from my surgeon's nurse early this morning. My surgery will be put off until next Wednesday which will the 11th of November instead of today. That changed everything.
 
Dr. Kenneth Sharp fell and hurt his back yesterday. My surgery is suppose to last 6 to 8 hours, and he would not be able to stand for that long. He rescheduled it to be on the 11th of November.
 
Macon and I will be leaving next Tuesday (Nov.10th) for Nashville. We are all going to stay at the Baymont Inn near Vanderbilt. I have to be at the hospital (Nov11th) at 600 and surgery at 800am on Wednesday.
 
Thanks so much for all the sweet prayers and concern during my illness.

Please continue to pray for Jean and family. Doctor found worse situation than expected during her surgery and were not able to do what was needed. In a lot of pain. Pray for God's healing grace.

My 8 yr old grandson, Connor Darby, has been diagnosed with acute asthma, complete with rescue inhaler at home and school.  Pray for him and his mom while they learn how to use the inhaler and pray he will outgrow the asthma.

An employee of mine at our store, Lora, just lost her baby yesterday.  She was 7 months pregnant and something went tragically wrong inside her and the baby died.  She had to give birth to her son last night, who was a beautiful, fully developed sweet baby, who now they have to bury.  Lora and her husband are devastated.  
God gives and can take away too.  We have to love and trust Him through it all.  But what do I say to Lora?  That her precious little gift from God is now with Him in heaven?  Please help me pray for these people.  Thanks. Linda Watson
