Courageous Alan, you are showing some real stones lately, don’t stop.

As Americablog.com notes, democrats and progressives don’t care about childrens conception or try and legislate sex. BUT THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT DOES:

“Sarah Palin and John McCain and James Dobson care very much about the conception of your children. James Dobson, the very man McCain is wooing, himself decided that Mary Cheney’s out of wedlock conception was worthy of an entire commentary in TIME magazine only 18 months ago. It is at least fair to ask that Sarah Palin meet the James Dobson/Mary Cheney standard, and clarify for James Dobson and values voters everywhere whether her actions match her words.”

Stupid. Really, really stupid. If it wasn’t so blatantly uneducated this might only be tacky but considering the nature of Downs, this is downright dumb (albeit still tacky). Apparently when faced with a strong conservative politician on whom dirt cannot be found because there is none, the left is reduced to blind potshots hoping something will hit.

I thought your belief was that the medical decisions of woman are between her and her doctor? You guys on the left are digging deeper in the gutter aren’t you? I’m sure your line of attack looks really attractive to all of us rubes out here in the battleground states of the midwest. I used to have a lot of respect for you, but that is pretty much gone. What would you be saying if a Republican said what you did?

Its true. You Democrats always talk about women’s rights, but only when they tow your idiological line. Thank you to all of the liberal commentators who have shown just how mysoginistic all of you are over the past couple of days with Gov. Palin and previously with Sen. Clinton.

You chickenshit piece of filth kike, you are the reason Hitler was able to convince so many people to do what they did to an entire race of people. Assholes like you. I’m waiting for you to make your Imus statement, you hate this woman so much inevitably you will fuck up and get fired, even if those hypocritical bastards at Media Matters won’t call any attention to your hate.

In fact… maybe this was a covert op to destroy Media Matters and the un-Fairness doctrine because it will highlight the hypocrisy of the left. On second thought scream all you want, do it deliberately on Hannity and Colmes and don’t just hide behind the web page you coward.

And thanks for ensuring the election goes the right way by being such a douchebag Nazi, Vice President Palin will take care of the media outlets leeching off of congress that protect the wretched parasites like you. News Flash to all the idiots heavy use of pot causes genetic damage and palin was an admited pot smoker. SO it was more then just likely that it was her heavy drug use combined with her age that caused this poor childs condition. while not going to the hospital as most women would when her water broke isnt the cause of the downs syndrom it definately shows the lack of concern for the child. Then again she was probably more concerned with her POLITICAL future and not her childs future. in a previous post somone said i wanted her aborted thats absurd i would never say that what i wished is that she did not abuse her children with drug use and neglect either pre or post birth.

*** Have you ever looked at when Barack was born in relation to his mother’s “marriage” to his father? ***

Not just *when* they were married, but how old *she* was when Barack Jr was conceived - on the night of JFK’s election, when Barack Sr. finally talked her out of her panties.

She was 17.

So Sarah Palin was a little late, went down to the drugstore, bought a pregnancy-test-on-a-stick, and showed it to ber BF? So what!!! Even from a Christian perspective that’s no big deal. I happen to know several couples who got married right out of high school because they *had to*. They are all happy, successful, and religious.

If it’s true then what matters is that Palin has demonstrated her pro-life bona fides not once but at least twice in her life. Once at marriage, the second time after finding out the baby she was carrying would have Down Syndrome.

And I’ll give you both arms and all ten toes if Barack and Michelle were chaste prior to their marriage at the - ahem - TRINITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST.

Let’s see… who is a better judge of what steps a woman should follow during her pregnancy? Alan Colmes or a woman who is having her 5th child? Call me silly, but I am sticking with the latter option.

Alan, there was a time that I respectfully disagreed with most of what said and kept an open mind to future opinions. Those days are over. You have crossed a disgusting line.

Hey Roger, considering this is the second nominee and within 48 hours you are focusing on the issue of her own personal pracices conerning pregnancy health do you think that doesn’t risk being a little, maybe, sexist?

Can you cite one instance in history where the medical practices of a male candidate were questioned? The only thing close I can think of was Eagleton’s dismissal for recieving electroshock therapy for depression, although that concerned the type of treatment rather than method. Seriously, you seem to be saying she’s a woman who’s irresponsible with her own body (if you’re a liberal and refuse to recognize that brainstem with a beating heart and respirating lungs that can suck its own thumb is very much alive). Don’t accuse me of anti-semitism just for pointing out that Alan is hateful evil. After reading these posts he’s put up it almost borders delusional considering some of the lengths he’s going to in order to argue Palin is a horrible person.

Get her on tape listening to a demented preacher, or hanging out with unrepentant terrorists, or dissing her grandmother as a bigot, and then we’ll congratulate him. Doctors only become concerned about the possibility of infection if labor doesn’t start within 24 hours after the water breaks. How do I know this? I am an obstetrical RN.

The truth is, you and your liberal friends are looking for any possible avenue to attack Sarah Palin. This story looked like a good way to try to paint her as irresponsible. It is also pretty vile, but that sort of thing from the Left has ceased to surprise me.

Give me a break. Alan questioned her judgement because she went into early labor in Texas, gave a speech and hopped a damned flight to Alaska.

He said nothing about blaming her for having a child with Down syndrome!

Shame on you, Malkinites.

I’ve talked to several people today (in person) who are really leery of the “Governor’s water broke, she gave a speech, hopped a flight to Alaska and gave birth in a rural hospital and went to work three days later! oh PS She’s amazing because that baby has special needs and Palin is pro-life!” story. I’m studying for my MA in Special Education and if there’s anything I hate, it’s using kids for your own political gain…

If anything, Sarah Palin is the kind of woman that’s bad for America. Aren’t you conservatives supposed to care about your families and unborn children - you know? instead of endangering them by flying for ten hours after your water breaks? Little Trig had to be induced -which indicates there was a problem- and Colmes could’ve ripped into Palin like Coulter into a steak but he didn’t.

He gave her a softball.

This is what he posted:

Still, a Sacramento, Calif., obstetrician who is active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, said when a pregnant woman’s water breaks, she should go right to the hospital because of the risk of infection.

The risk of INFECTION. Not Down Syndrome. He never said a word or ever implied that his post had anything to do with Down Syndrome. Oh dear… the nutjob network has been busy today. Sorry I didn’t drop by to defend you earlier Alan. This whole Palin situation is as fishy as a really fishy thing. Seems to me there are only two possible explanations for the woman’s bizarre behaviour:

1. She was trying to have a ‘fundamentalist abortion’ - kill the poor little thing without having to bear the blame herself, or more likely,

2. The daughter went into labour at a very unfortunate time, and Palin had to adjust the cover story and hightail it back to Alaska to rescue the charade.

Either way, the truth will out. Too many people must know the real story and it will all be clear in a day or three.

Any old ways, don’t fret about the fundies going postal on this one - they’re nothing more than zombies, hollowed-out bodies who have given over their minds to the money-grubbing charlatans that call themselves pastors. Such a pity these fools toss away the greatest gift we have - the ability to reason and think for ourselves.

Not all of them are like that, obviously. A large proportion of apparent fundies are nothing of the sort - it’s just very good for business to be the Baptist butcher, baker or candlestick maker in a town full of religious dolts. I’m guessing the loathsome Hannity, Coulter, Corsi and their ilk spotted gaps in the market for their particular brands of bigotry and just went for it, knowing the more obnoxious they were, the more millions they could suck out of the unsuspecting sheep.

Free enterprise, I guess. But pretty cynical all the same.

To RC from Smithtown,

I compliment you on your rundown of all the angry, foul-mouthed attacks on Alan by those whom he offended. Decency and civility strengthen one’s arguments and indecency and incivility weaken them. As a proud Conservative, I am squarely on the side of those who have attacked Alan, but I feel their ugly epithets do our side no favors. You were right to point that out.

I would, however, take issue with you on three counts:

1) Your views seem to be rooted in a very recognizable anti-Christian bigotry. The targets of your scorn are, “many moral, ethical, principled, upright, honorable, virtuos, pious, devout, Christian, family-values people”. Your sarcasm exposes an obvious disdain for such qualities and amazingly, you jumped to a prejudiced assumption that these people are Christians who claim to be virtuous. How could you possibly know this?

2) Have you ever read the stuff that folks on the Left write? The levels of profanity and hatred that they routinely rely on is far worse than anything the Right comes up with. Would you make a list of their less-than-Christian remarks? Perhaps I’m wrong, but I suspect you wouldn’t. Why not? Because folks on the Right have values that they can betray. This betrayal (a.k.a. “hypocrisy”) is the most vile and unforgivable of Liberal sins. Folks on the Left, however, are blissfully free to be as vile and as offensive as they want. Having divorced themselves from any of that silly, outdated, Christian family-value nonsense (unlike the pious Right that clings to God and guns), they are unburdened. They have no values and believe in nothing (thank you, John Lennon). If you have no values to betray, you can never be accused of being a hypocrite. How nice for you, RC.

3) Final point. If a Conservative gets angry and insults a Liberal with foul language, The Left go ballistic and demand blood. They cry, “hypocrite” and stomp off in an indignant rage.

If an Islamo-fascist gets angry and saws the head off of a humanitarian aid worker, the Left demand that we try to understand his anger and open dialogue. And then, in the same breath, they point an angry finger at the Right and accuse us of making the poor man angry. Go figure.

Hey RC, why don’t you try to understand the anger of those whom Alan Colmes offended? What’s so hard about that?

Take care and thanks for your post.

Mr. Colmes,

What, exactly, is your major malfunction? Did you cite this [concern over 5-time mother Palin's prenatal care] as something that you actually believe has merit? Is it a cynical method to draw traffic to your site because you want more exposure and/or money? Is it some thought experiment to see how much bad blood you can induce from the ideological Right to make some disingenuous point?

Or is it because you’re just another offensive liberal hack among a growing list of them embedded in media committed to smearing those with whom you disagree politically?

What a disgraceful and obnoxious display. Don’t think the public isn’t aware of your motivation however you decide to spin it on H&C or the radio… assuming you have the guts to debate it and get exposed by the likes of Sean Hannity.

UK DAILY MAIL
BRITIAN: Revealed: Saudi women preaching hate in the British mosque that promised to clean up its act 18 months ago

The Saudi Arabian preachers were secretly filmed ordering women to murder gays and ex-Muslims.

Undercover reporters from Channel 4’s Dispatches recorded the lectures in the women’s section of Regent’s Park Mosque in London.

An unnamed Saudi woman is seen mocking other religions – labelling Christianity ‘vile’ and an ‘abomination’. Another, known as ‘Angelique’, claims Britain is a ‘land of evil’.

The investigators attended lectures for two months at the mosque, which had promised a clean-up after another Dispatches probe just 18 months ago exposed it for spreading extreme Islamic views.

During one sermon, a woman called Um Amira says: ‘He is Muslim, and he gets out of Islam…what are we going to do? We kill him, kill, kill.’

In the programme, to be screened tomorrow, she adds that women adulterers should be stoned to death and people who have sex before marriage should get ‘100 lashes’.

Regent’s Park Mosque is one of the biggest and most prestigious Islamic institutions in the UK. Opened in 1944 by King George VI, it can hold up to 5,000 worshippers.

After the 2007 Dispatches investigation, which also looked at mosques in Birmingham, West Midlands Police and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) claimed Channel 4 had distorted sermons and tried to press charges.

But watchdog Ofcom dismissed their findings and Channel 4 won six-figure libel damages from the police and CPS.

This time, Dispatches returned to Regent’s Park Mosque to find exactly the same extremist books on sale there and the female preachers spreading radical Wahhabi Islam.

One Saudi woman, who mocks other religions, says: ‘We feel nothing sometimes going past the church. What they say with their tongues is so vile and disgusting, it’s an abomination.’

Another female preacher, Um Saleem, says it ‘breaks her heart’ to see Muslims ‘working in banks, wearing short sleeves…and make-up’.

The man in charge of the mosque, Dr Ahmed Al Dubayan, is Islamic Affairs attaché to the Saudi Embassy. Dispatches claims the mosque has links to the Saudi government, which it accuses of spending billions spreading the Wahhabi message. The Saudi Embassy denied this.

Dr Al Dubayan said he did not know the preachers in the documentary and claimed the mosque ‘does not support or condone extreme views’.

there isn’t any technical issue, he just deleted a post he’s embarrassed to have made. nothing to see here, Kommisar Colmes never posted that trash about Palin’s motherhood….it’s a capitalist trick!

Alan–you are a vile piece of trash and a sexist pig for even suggesting such a thing. You’ve been losing credibility for some time now, but this takes the cake. Why don’t you just have your nasty little site here redirect to the Daily Kos or Democratic Underground? You fit right in with those losers who have to attack women because their candidate, obama, is UNELECTABLE and they have nothing else.

Comedy hour is here again :)

I’m sure Alan will repost all the hateful spleen you and your fundie friends spewed up yesterday, Hole. We all need a laugh and what’s funnier than an army of zombies all fired up by the bushie telegraph to add their 2 cents worth to a site they never normally haunt.

This dopey Palin woman either tried for a ‘fundie abortion’ (killing the baby ‘accidentally’ so she couldn’t be blamed) or her poor daughter went into labour inconveniently early and she had to improvise before rushing back to finish off the cover-up charade they had been playing out for months. Either way, it will come out and McCain will be looking for another VP by next week. My money’s on the mormon!

I was born six weeks premature in September of 1948, and my parents were married in January of 1943, shortly before my father shipped out for the South Pacific.

Not everyone born a few weeks early is a bastard like you, Colmes.

It is quite evident that Alan Colmes doesn’t understand family values when he sees them. There is an entire class of people in this country who never knew both parents and Colmes supports their lifestyle with his liberal crap while two people, the Palins, who are in fact successful and have a great family with a patriotic son serving in the US Army are more than he can stand. That is why a POS like Colmes will always try to denigrate anyone like the Palins. Geeze, Alan, just think. Mrs. Palin is more accomplished than your media born puppet Obama and she did it without the help of you and your ilk.

A 24 year old woman, and 23 year old man, in love, were sexually active in 1988. Seems to me they were a product of the liberal sexual revolution spawned in the 60’s and 70’s by the Democrats.

Alan, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I trust you have forwarded this to the Obama campaign.

Dave–its become clear to me that liberal nuts like Alan Colmes have no morals, no values and no shame. They smear women on a regular basis, make sexist comments to anyone who will listen and then call themselves “progressives”. Well, neanderthals like Alan Colmes are the complete opposite of progressive and its time people woke up and realized these people have no class and are quickly becoming the majority in the Democratic Party. They also can’t hold a candle to strong accomplished women like Sarah Palin and it scares the heck out of them. Poor little wimps–intimidated by strong, intelligent women, so their only defense is to try and smear them. Sad, sorry little men is what they are. Their mothers would be mortified.

May I remind Alan that the “baby” he is referring to is a soldier in the United States Army who is deploying to Iraq on September 11th, 2008?

You should be ashamed of yourself, Alan, not only for smearing a woman, but for smearing a US soldier.

You deserve to be fired from FOX for this.

The really important thing is that deocrats are wrong 100% of the time. And Gov Palin is no democrat.

You are a pig. Pigs love to wallow in their own poop and the mud.
But, you know, through my life, I learned a truth told to me by my father:
WE SUSPECT OF OTHERS WHAT WE KNOW OF OURSELVES.

Radical Democrats–like yourself, accuse people of doing incorrect, corrupt, and degenerative things0–because YOU have done it.
Then, you turn right around and try to tell the world–”It’s O K–I didn’t do anything wrong.”

Funny, you’re the only one I’ve heard say this. Do you have something against women who have children that are less-than-republican perfect

Oh my FRiend, just check DU and the KOS KIDS. Their sites are filled with vile posts attacking the birth of her 5th child. Looks to me like Sarah Palin, does not view pragnancy as a punishment like Barak does.

Comment on Conservative Family Values by Anne

Anne 8/31/2008 6:55 AM

This is nothing. You should take a peek at the total depravity coming from kos, moveon and the DU. These folk don’t know what hit them and are in panic mode. Let them show their hand, we’ll just save their words to use for a rainy day but right now the sun is shining.

Sarah represents the post feminist generation of women in politics. She appeals to men and women without being either strident or resorting to dealing the gender card. She’s a woman who hunts, fishes, life long member of the NRA, sporty, from small town America. She’s bright, outgoing, willing to work, and has a strength of character you couldn’t miss.

She’s us and the Dimmies know it.
