Announcements
Keith Petrosky introduced three representatives from the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) program, who were previously unavailable for the full Rotary presentation, all from St. Augustine Prep. They gave highlights of their experiences and impressions.In special holiday performances, William Rivera, who attended last week’s special needs party, sang “Feliz Navidad” and Ed Duffy recited “Twas the Lunch before Christmas,” written for the club in 1994.
Pat Proccaccino told a really funny joke (for once) and Bill Plick, finemaster, dispensed with fines in honor of the season.

Today’s Program
Program chairman, Bill Dudley, introduced speakers from the South Jersey Youth Alliance, which works with local government and businesses on behalf of area youths. Based in Vineland, the group presents school assemblies with well-known motivational speakers; sponsors basketball tournaments; organizes young adult groups; operates after-school programs; and mentors individuals and student groups.The philosophy of the organization, said President Preston Centuolo, is “You can’t change your past but you can change your future.”
Larry Baruffi, another adult member, spoke of his involvement and showed a video picturing activities and feedback from youths enrolled in the programs
