Flag Salute & Prayer

Announcements

Henry Hansen announced that this year's Pedals for Progress will be held at his barn on September 16th. He is collecting bicycles in good condition, sewing machines and treddle sewing machines.
A joint meeting of our Membership Committee and the Vineland Breakfast Club will be held on Thursday morning at 7:15 at Larry's II. We will discuss supporting the Breakfast Club and share ideas. Please keep in mind to "make up" missed club meetings or just bring a guest on Thursday mornings at the Breakfast Club meeting.
Pat provided us with a joke.
PP George, presented Sherry with an award & a hug, thanking her for all her contributions while serving on the 2005-06 Board of Directors.

Bill P. fined Grandfather, Mike Bensen, for "happy news" - his daughter in Arlington, VA, recently had a baby girl.Congratulations Grandad Mike! Pat paid a $2 fine for his joke. Bill fined the "fun table" $2. each.

Today’s Program

VP Fundraiser, Betsy, introduced today's program. Richard Maung, from Achieve Physical Therapy, who spoke about "Fitness on the Fairway". Rich, along with Paul Heim, is Co-founder of Achieve Physical Therapy, a state of the art facility providing outpatient practice and fitness center. Rich demonstrated how the golf swing is one of the most complicated and demanding sport activities placed on the human body. Physical conditioning is necessary to help prevent injuries. Injuries range from strains, sprains, fractures and tendenitus. Many of these injuries can be prevented by developing daily stretching and exercise routines.
