Flag Salute & Prayer


Singing, Flag Salute , Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test was led by Marty.
The opening prayer was led by Dan Leslie.

Doug Rauschenberger was visiting from the Haddonfield Club, Alan Samuels was the Guest of Ron B., Connie was the guest of her husband Carl Kirstein, Shirley Vendrasko-Burke was the guest of Betsy, Hope Brolis was the guest of Paige, Miriam Pagnum and Denyse White were the guests of Bonnie, and Patrick Capriotti was the guest of Melanie.

Bruce introduced today's quests.
Hugh encouraged participants to attend the Vocational Assembly at Trump Casino on Oct. 8th.
Dave requested sponsors for cases of food for Sano Domingo Orphanage.
Carol reminded us about the Wine Tasting event at Morton's Steakhouse Sept. 20th.
Ted invited all to the Smoke Out on Oct. 3rd at his garage.
Carol informed us about her Cancer Walk and is looking for sponsors.
Cornell announced the Boyscout Salute to Families and Veterans this coming Sunday, 5 p.m.

Finemaster

Pres. Bill was fined $5 for his story, everyone at Pat P's table was fined $3 for talking, Charlie Parish $2 for something, Marty was fined $2 for not being fined enough last week, Loren Riggings for his picture in the newspaper and Paige for the same. Bonnie was warned that she would be fined $5 if she cried during her program today.

Program

PE Betsy introduce our own Bonnie as the guest speaker. Bonnie talked about the Katrina Relief Missions to Waveland Mississippi in April 2006 and November 2006. Some members of the Vineland Rotary with some old and new friends traveled to the area to lend their time and hands wherever and however needed to help rebuild structures and lives. A visual presentation was shown highlighting the trip. The presentation also included some Rotarians sharing their experiences. It was a life changing experience and all those participating were touched in ways they hadn't expected.
