members that you can always make up a meeting anytime, almost anyplace in
the world at one of the more then 32,600 clubs. If you plan to travel, check
the Rotary International web site, and find a club in the area you plan to
travel to. This is a great way to meet other Rotarians.
Charles then asked our new member Gerry Dooley and his sponsor Marty Hoag
to join him at the podium, where Marty presented Gerry with his Rotary pin. Charles inducted G

The second part of the days program was the vocational presentation of
new member, Louann Ferrari-Brooks.
Louanne has the distinction of being our youngest member. Donıt tell
her...if she was 40 sheıd probably still be our youngest member!
Louanne is a 1993 grad of Vineland High, she attended St. Joseph
university in Philly for 2-years and transferred to Rowan, with a major in
Chemistry for 2 more years. During that time she moved in with her grand
parents, so she could care for them.
Louanne is married to a Vineland Fireman, and they are expecting their
first baby in March.
Louanne is the Director of The United Way in our area. The United Way works
with most all the service organizations in our area. Her goal this year
is to raise $650,000.00 to continue to support these local services. She
said she is most proud of the 211 program she has been working on. The
program is a hot-line to find services and financial support for people in
need. She also reminded anyone involved in other service organizations to be
sure your organization is included.
In addition, Louanne and her husband have a home based business ³Sweet
Impressions². They rent, and set up chocolate fountains, for weddings,
party's, special events, like the up-coming 1st Year anniversary party at
Liz Ryan Gemstones.
Welcome Louanne!
