Meenaxi

I was reluctant to see the hindi movie - Meenakshi, a film by famous painter MF Hussain. I didn't like single bit, his last one - GajGamini.

But this one, though very slow and really abstract at times. But I kind of liked it. Its off-beat and basically the entire movie goes around in to the mind of an author and probably his obsession with a hyderabadi girl named meenakshi(you dont know if she's real, anyway it does not matter in the story). The cinematography(santosh sivan) and music(Rahman) is very good. I will recommend it to the people who like arty kind of movie.
