ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I have worked as a scientist and taught university physics and mathematics for many years. At the same time, making mobiles has been my lifetime passion. My goal is to create pieces that seem to defy gravity and move gracefully even in slight air drafts. The movements are mesmerizing and remind the viewer of the fragility and interconnectedness of life. Through my work I have discovered what many others have noticed: that precise science and art both reflect nature in a beautiful and elegant way.
