Will of Catharine Repine

Will Book  1,pg. 192 & 193             "1829" 

#304 Catherine Repine, Deceased. Will &c. In the name of God Amen. I Catherine Repine widow in Indiana County being sound in mind, memory, and understanding - but being mindful of my mortality, do make and constitute this my last will and testament. First and principally I recommend my immortal spirit to God who gave it, my body to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors. And as to my worldly estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me with, I give and dispose of as follows.
Item 1st I do hereby will and bequeath to my daughter Sophia Jewel my Hand of curtains.
2nd I do hereby will to my daughter Mary Hoover my new great coat.
3rd I do also will my daughter Elizabeth my young mike horse.
4th I do also will to my grand children Catherine and Christopher Repine children of my son George Repine, the proceeds of a note I hold on my brother-in-law George Mayer so soon as they shall arrive at the age of twenty one years.
5th I do also will to my two grand children Christopher and Catharine Repine children of my son John Repine the proceeds of a note I hold on George Hoover so soon as they arrive at twenty one years of age - my third part of the place at twenty dollars a year as agreed upon between my son Joseph and me on the third day of August Eighteen hundred and twenty three until the present date the amount of which is now in the hands of the said Joseph I do hereby allow to be equally divided among my seven children - I do also allow one brass clock one cow one bureau one folding leaf table one doughtree, one dresser, one candlestand, one wheel one small pot, one griddle one skillet and one brass tea kettle one other Brass kettle, my old bay mare, one bed and bedding and one sow and seven pigs all which items I allow to be appraised and sold and also to be equally divided among my seven children. I do also give and bequeath to my two grandchildren Catharine & Christopher Repine children of my son George Repine ???teen dollars which is in the hands of my son Joseph Repine with the interest there of so soon as they are twenty one years of age. And further I do hereby nominate and appoint my son George Repine and John Fair both of said County to be my executors of this my last will and testament. And I do hereby publish and declare this and none other to be my last will & testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my and and seal the twenty seventh day of May one thousand eight hundred & twenty

Be it remembered that on the eighth day of December AD 1829 before me at Indiana and duly proved the above testament and last will of Catharine Repine Decd by the subscribing witnesses thereto to wit Thomas Wilkins and John C. Repine same day letters testamentary issued to the executors in said will named who where duly sworn.
