Hi, my name is Yvonne (a.k.a. Nana, Vonnie).  I would like to share with you a little about myself.  My family and I live in a small town by the name of Hanford.  It is located in the San Joaquin Valley nestled between Los Angeles and San Francisco.  Here is where I share my life with Mickey, a wonderful man who is not only my husband but my best friend.  We were high school sweethearts who began our journey in life together on February 14th, 1975.  We spent the first 19 years of our married life in the Air Force traveling around the world. In 1994 Mickey had served the military for 20 years and we decided it was time to retire and move back home to Hanford where our roots run deep. I've heard tell, "There's no place like home".

God blessed us with two beautiful children... Tara, our daughter and Shaun, our son. We are very proud of the achievements they have made. They are both college graduates... Tara having received her Associates Degree and Shaun his Bachelors.  Our daughter is raising her own beautiful daughter, Alora. She is our first and only grandchild and has this Nana, and her Papa, wrapped around her little finger. You will be seeing a lot of her during your visit.

Let's see... what else can I tell you about me. I work full time, but just until I win the Lotto...lol.  In my spare time I love playing with my granddaughter, taking pictures...mostly of my granddaughter, going to the coast, spending time with my family and working on my website.  I love the winter time and despise the heat of summer. I'm a night owl. I enjoy sport cars, classic cars and hot rods. I collect Disney movies but my all time favorite movie is "The Wizard of Oz". I love fresh fruits and vegetables. My favorite ice cream is Chocolate and favorite dessert is Strawberry Shortcake. My favorite beverages are Dr Pepper, Coca-Cola and Sweet Ice Tea.

I want to thank my Mom for the encouragement to build this website and for inspiring me by creating such a lovely website of her own.  Love you Mom!
