OVERCOMING ADVERSITY

 
 

B.S. (BEFORE stroke) I took great pride in my physical strength. Now, I still value that precious muscle mass. It was helpful in my early recovery, allowing smoother adaptation. While honing my outer body, I am also developing powerful determination, motivation and discipline, which are major elements in inner strength or "chi". Previously, I hadn't noticed that trait, but it's a good bet I would have lost my latest battle had I lost my "chi", my edge.
