OVERCOMING ADVERSITY
I was asked recently what my biggest "pet peeve" was. I guess it's become folks who feel sorry for themselves. I've met some all new heroes in the past few years. Those living with incredible adversity and still moving forward without missing a beat. Glad just to be breathing. After living 24x7 with these superstars of humanity, I find that I have very little tolerance for the people who have everything going for them and they still whine. I want to say "shut up and look around." Why should your life be fair?
