An Overview of what VVM Designs provides:

A. Landscape Plan Package ( minimum of 15 hours)

1. Initial Assessment
1. Design discussion, focusing needs and desires for the landscape design.
2. Site review, measure and photograph site to be designed
3. To move forward – a 1 hour consulting fee deposit is due.
2. Design Options Overview Meeting
1. VVM Designs will present up to 3 design options with the client(s).
2. Feedback and additional options are discussed or the plans can be left with the client (for no more than 7 days) to review privately.
3. Verify client likes and dislikes as well as current irrigation and lighting requirements.
4. An estimate of hours to complete design is presented. Review and sign contract.
3. Nursery Field Trip
1. Visit a local nursery to explore what types of plants the clients are attracted to and want included in the final design. If client already knows which plants that they want in their landscape they can present a plant list.
4. Preliminary plan review
1. VVM Designs will present preliminary landscape plan—discuss any changes before final touches added to design.
5. Final Plan Review
1. Present final landscape plan, (2 BW copies 18”x24”, 1 Color) with shopping and plant information lists, as well as the budget estimate.
2. Also included are instructions of what to do next if installing landscaping yourself.

B. Other Services Offered

1. Irrigation Plans
2. Consults

• Horticultural Consult – walk-through with client identifying plants, problems, giving recommendations of maintenance solutions or plant replacements.
• Design Consult- Advise on specific plant or design change recommendations that the client can implement.
• Staging- Advise on quick changes that can be done for events or for spruce prior to sale.

3. Container Design
4. Project Planning- Can help create a plan to facilitate project completion
5. Basic Installation Management
• Shop with clients to chose plants or inspect plants delivered by landscape installer before installation.
• Determine placement with client/installer before any installation started.
• Periodically check-in on installation in progress at predetermined intervals.
• Perform final inspection of installation before landscape installers are released/paid.

VVM Designs also provides full project management of the installation: working with your installers and contractors to ensure that milestones are met, answering questions, coordinating communications and schedules, etc.  Project management currently offered at an hourly rate or can be negotiated accordingly.
