Soapbox:
WB3AAL: hiked 2.8 miles North from the Rte 501 crossing to Round Head Lookout on the Appalachian Trail in PA.
I had fun in the contest, great way to give out multipliers. We saw two Wart Hog Jets from the military fly over the treetops. Wonder if I could have sent them as a multiplier. :-) Can’t wait until next years contest so I can spend more time in the contest and out on the trail.
AA7EQ: Where was everyone? Signals were good from AR to PA, MI, ID on 20 and
15 and QSO'd a Los Angeles station that was also using a K1 at 5w and
was a good 559.
NU7T: Thank you for hosting a fun sprint. It is more fun trying to explain such an
odd request.
K7TQ:
Nice to work you and thanks for putting this one on.
WU9F: Buffalo in Wisconsin you ask? Yes, on I-90/94 in
Juneau county between mile markers 59-60 there is a farm with a herd of
between 10 or 12 buffalo. Must be a farmer raising them for
commercial sales.
W2AGN: Good conditions, even worked HA5MA with my ATS-III and end fed wire, but little activity. Guess not much interest in this one.
