Cabinet Information:

The upright game is housed in an Atari System 1 cabinet. Its side art has Atari written down both sides. The large sit-down version has a plastic lens over the monitor which enlarges the screen to make it seem like a 25-inch CRT.

Game Play:
Futuristic driving game where you have to shoot opponents and collect fuel globes. Collect power-up weapons by catching them from above. Digitized speech, effects and music throughout.

Similar to (but not compatible with) STUN Runner. Power-ups include UZ cannon, cruise missile, electro-shield, and nitro injector.

Game trivia:
Shortly after its release, you could win a free Atari T-shirt by completing all 50 levels.

Conversion?

With a simple change of the daughter board and the control panel, this game can be converted to other System 1 games in the upright cabinet.

Game strategy:
Shoot cars using a single shot instead of holding down the fire button to increase the bonus multiplier.

Crash into roadside cannons instead of shooting them for 8000+ points. This will greatly increase reserve fuel, which is awarded at the end of a rally based on score.
