Amateur Radio is a hobby that is enjoyed by millions around the world.  By using transmitters and receivers, amateur radio operators use high frequency bands  to communicate with one another.  Many amateurs are interested in various aspects of the hobby: emergency communications, satellites, experimenting, slow scan TV, contesting, etc.  Below is a link for more information on amateur radio (American Radio Relay League).

My name is Mike Wetzel and I was first licensed in 1962.  I started contesting in 1963 and really got serious in 1975.  In 1975,  I bought 9 acres and I started to erect towers and antennas.  Presently I have 4 towers from 108' to 170' located on the southeast side of Indianapolis, Indiana.

THIS SITE IS MAINLY DEDICATED TO THE  DETAILS OF MY 80 METER 2 ELEMENT BEAM @150'.
