Almost two decades ago a group of the areas finest artists gathered to create the Wabash Artists Alliance (WAA). Our mission is to promote the arts and artists and be an advocate for the arts in the community.

WAA initiated the conversion of the old Wells Library to the Tippecanoe Arts Federation. WAA has two exhibitions at TAF, the Grand WAAbash (a juried show) and the WAA Theme Show(an open show). This enables local artists an opportunity to submit their own art for inclusion in either of the shows. The WAA meetings are usually at 7:00pm on the first Wednesday of the month at TAF, and may feature a speakers, programs, artwork critiques or tours of local artists studios. There may be one or two trips to local or regional exhibitions which are fun and educational.  

Membership is $25 due in January. Artists 18 years and older living in Tippecanoe, and surrounding counties are all welcome. WAA is a non-profit organization of artists
