Robert Murray Collins, CSA Robert M. Collins married Gov. Watts's daughter Catherine "Kate" Watts in the last days of the Civil War. Their huge burial plot stands close by the Watts plot in Oakwood Cemetery. The Collins family hailed from Mississippi and held several large plantations. I have been unable to make contact with any descendants to date, though an elderly woman did pay a visit to my grandmother in the late 1950's while she was living in Florida. We suspect the visitor was Florence Collins Pickett.
