Pickett
Albert James Pickett
Albert James Pickett's History of Alabama is regarded as one of the best books about the frontier territory that later became the state of Alabama. One of his grandsons married one of Gov's Watts's granddaughters who in turn had a daughter named Laura Katherine "Kate" Pickett. Records at the ADAH suggest that she inherited furniture, paintings, and other memorabilia from the Watts mansion on Adams Ave. I am searching for any records that could help me contact her family and descendants.
