FOURTH WRITING

Hello My Friends!

It's been awhile. I needed to go back and read my stuff
to remember what I said as to not say something stupid
and contradict myself. I hate that.

I didn't really recognize too much of myself in those first
three writings. I did, however, agree with everything I said.

smile

Today I wish to address sobriety. The state of being sober.
It's, first you're born a good person. Then you turn into a
bad person. Then you get a grip and become a good person
again and you decide it's best to just forget you were ever
a bad person. Now you're a good person.

Oh let's say 2, 3, 4, 5 years from now the abused brain
cells that have managed to survive by ducking for cover
and hiding in tiny caves in your gray matter start to get
messages from the outside. "Pssst...There hasn't been
any illegal mood enhancers in a while. I wonder if it's
safe to go out"?

One day you're in your car and you start to see it unfold
in your mind... One of those things it was best to forget.
You say "no no no, I didn't do that." I couldn't have."

Well, yeah...You did.

It will start to happen more and more and it's not fair
because you have changed and you're a good person again.
Never the less, there it is. People say that dealing is better
and I whole heartedly agree.

So now, it's... First you're born a good person. Then you
turn into a bad person Then you get a grip and become a
good person again and you decide it's best to just forget
you were ever a bad person. Then you remember you
were a bad person. Now you're a good person.

Next, I would like to try to make sense of one of those enigmas of modern day society. I'm sure you've heard of
the peanut butter salmonella outbreak. If I felt like it I
could put a link to one of the many articles about it but then
my writing would start to look like Danny's blogs.

If you haven't heard about it, just google,
"Peanut butter, 8 dead."

I'm sure it raises the same feelings of outrage in you as
it does in me. Believe me, heads will roll!  I mean, what kind
of society would we be if we let a company get off without
being prosecuted for their responsibility in those deaths
and the many others who suffered. Hell! They should be
put out of business!!!

Oh really!?!?

Why then, do we let industries like the cigarette companys,
whose only product sickens lungs, ruins hearts, devastates
families and kills our fellow man continue to thrive with full
knowledge of the ruination of human lives? I know, I know.
Revenue, taxes, jobs. I get it. I really do. This is the deal.

Somewhere a long time ago the human heart was diverted
from it's natural logical path and herded to a place where
we are forced to squeeze out some kind of life in a world
where the people are enslaved by fear and money.

It doesn't happen over night. We would never fall for that. I think Danny says it best in one of his blogs. Maybe I'll quote him and put a link.     smile    Yeah...

"...people will offer less resistance to the idea
of an immense change of any system if its done
in incremental, gradual steps."    Blog by Dano

Yes. What he said.

So we ARE the kind of society would let a company get off
without being prosecuted for their responsibility in those
deaths and the many others who suffered. Our fear of
not having the money and jobs generated by the cigarette
industry has allowed us to turn the blind eye.

We rationalize. I mean, people can make up their own minds
whether they smoke or not. Right? I don't know my friends.

I know people who are strong willed and have faced and
overcame other obstacles like alcohol and drugs but
for some reason, they can't give up cigarettes.
I for one, am suspicious!!

When I was quitting smoking and was tempted to start
again I would close my eyes and picture a man. He is a
CEO of a major tobacco company. One of those smug
40 something's with a touch of gray. He doesn't smoke.
He's got a big mansion and 9 cars, a shop-a-holic sexually
unfulfilled wife and 2 over weight mean teenage spoiled
stupid kids. His mistress has had 2 abortions because the
ass hole won't wear a condom. Every time you buy a pack a cigarettes you're making that bag of smegma richer.
Knock it off!

2012

:::sings I'm a Believer by the Monkeys:::

I'm sorry. I'm a Believer.

I think something is going to happen on or around
December 21, 2012. I don't mean any old something.
I'm talking life altering events. Events that can't be
ignored. These changes will be caused by the effect of
the alignment of our sun, good ol' Sol, to the
Galactic Center (sounds like a candy bar!!).

I will now make a prediction. hehe    smile

Picture this... Sol is finally able to shine his full spectrum
of light into the center of the his own Galaxy!!! Must be like
meeting a rock star. Unfortunately for us this heavenly
meeting is the final straw for the earths magnetic field and we have our pole shift. North is south, up is is down, nobody
knows what time it is...stupid I would suspect it will have quite a
devastating effect on the human race. We may not survive.
If we do, there won't be many of us left and everything
will be weird. OR!!!...

The earth will enter a type of space that is different
then we're used to. The sky will be different colors and
chemical changes will cause massive extinctions. Whatever
survives will be mutated into unrecognizable living beings
who will live happily ever after and the human race will be forgotten.

On the TV show Battle Star Galactica someone in one of the
early episodes said "Our race will survive if it deserves to
survive." With that said I suggest we all start living right.
I'll go first.    smile
