The Walton's Mountain Reunion - 2001

The Ninth Annual Fall Reunion of the Waltons International Fan Club was held on October 20, 2001, at the Radisson Hotel in Lynchburg, Virginia. The theme of the reunion was Homecoming Reflections, in honor of the 30th Anniversary of The Homecoming. Cast members and special guests who were in attendance were Jon Walmsley, Lisa Harrison, Judy Norton, Mary McDonough, Kami Cotler, Eric Scott, Lynn Hamilton, and Deanna Lund, as well as members of the Hamner family.

Unfortunately, the lighting was not very good in the banquet room, so my photos are not very good. However, I still want to share what I have with other Waltons' fans.

Judy Norton, Eric Scott, Mary McDonough, Kami Cotler, and Jon Walmsley shared their memories of The Homecoming with the fans.

One of the best parts of the reunion for me is the opportunity to meet some of the cast members.

Another special part of the reunion is the opportunity to meet other Waltons fans and to be reunited with friends I haven't seen for a year. I especially enjoy getting to meet people that I have met on the internet.


Lauren provided some of the musical entertainment at the banquet when she played a patriotic song on her clarinet.	I'm not sure who the people are in the back. Perhaps someone will recognize them and let me know who they are.

On Sunday, we drove up to the Waltons Mountain Museum in Schuyler. It was great to again see the cast members, who sat for hours signing autographs, and more friends like John Olvey, Glenn and Dot Phillips, Cynthia Dunaway, the Ensley family, and Loria Headlee. Loria did a terrific job heading up the Waltons quilt project.
