The 2002 Reunion of The Waltons International Fan Club was held during the weekend of July 13-14, 2002, at the Doubletree Hotel in Charlottesville, Virginia. The rainy weather in Charlottesville that weekend did not dampen the spirits of the enthusiastic fans of The Waltons as we gathered to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of our favorite television show. We were even featured on the front page of the Charlottesville Sunday paper.
Special guests in attendance this year were Jon Walmsley and Lisa Harrison and their daugher Brighton, Mary McDonough and her daughter Sydnee, Kami Cotler, Audrey Hamner, and Earl Hamner himself, the creator of The Waltons.
