The Common Forum Troll
is one form of The Internet Troll,
closely related to
The Common Usenet Troll and The Common Blogger Troll. Its primary source of nourishment is a
response to its excrement, which is left in the form of a comment on
any Forum
which allows comments. Its best not to feed the troll, otherwise it
might make
itself at home and litter said forum with ever growing piles of
excrement. Once
the pest moves into a Forum, the best way to eradicate it is by the use
of
"IP Ban" which comes free with VoyForums.
It should be noted that even an IP ban is not entirely
effective in removing
the most persistent of trolls - as many of them have a dynamic IP
address,
meaning that the Troll’s Internet Provider assigns a new IP address to
the
Troll’s computer each time he/she logs on. In that case, it is best to
ignore The Common Forum Troll. Please remember, only vigillance,
patience and time will get rid of the pest completely.
All posts by The Common Forum Troll will be promptly removed by
the
administrator of The Waltons Forum.
Likewise, all posts which feed The Common Forum Troll will also
be removed.
