Welcome to
Pure Excitement Comics, the number one source for original
Golden Age comic book reprints on the Web!
Welcome to the 14th amazing
issue of Pure Excitement Comics!
Coming back out of the almost-forgotten
depths of the Golden Age this month are three great characters. First up is the Cloak, a hero
who appeared in the pages of Big Shot Comics. The next story features the Target, who
has made two previous appearances in Pure Excitement Comics, so you know he's one of my favorites.
Long-time readers will note that the colorist of this Target story must have been new -- the Target's
not wearing the right uniform! Our third featured character
this month is the famous Skyman, also from Big Shot Comics. Included at the end of the regular story is a bonus fourth story
where Skyman crosses over with Brass Knuckles, a more comedic character from the same company.
All stories are believed to be in the public domain*.
If you enjoy this issue, be sure to write to let me know (it's also OK to write if you didn't like this issue...all feedback is appreciated). You will find
a link to my Email on the page following the stories. And be sure to join my mailing list to find out when I update any portion of my now-gigantic web empire (which has been
slightly curtailed for a few months while I build a new house)!
