Hey, everybody, issue 16 has arrived!
I've stuck with the altered format this issue because of outside time demands (ie. I'm still in the middle of building a new house...). The introductory information pages may return in the future, but we'll have to see. Most of the stuff I included came from the stories reprinted in this web'zine anyway... The house should be done around this time next month, so I may skip December and return with a new issue in January...sorry!
In the first slot this month is The Dart, from Weird Comics no. 17. That issue was published in August of 1941 by Fox Publications, Inc. The Dart, along with his sidekick, Ace, appeared in Weird Comics 5-20.
Our second feature this month is Capt. Future, reprinted from Startling Comics no. 39, published in May 1946 by Better Publications, Inc. Capt. Future appeared in Startling Comics 1-40 and America's Best Comic 1-3, 5 & 22..
In the third spot this month is Blast Bennett, yet another tale from Weird Comics no. 17, published in August of 1941 by Fox Publications, Inc. I like to reserve the third spot in each issue for something a little different -- I hope this story meets with everyone's approval. Blast Bennett appeared in Weird Comics 1-9 and 11-17.
