For the first time, Pure Excitement Comics is presenting a Golden Age comic book reprinted in its entirety! In the spotlight this month is the great characters from the Nedor/Standard line.
Nedor's America's Best Comics featured pure costumed hero adventure. Included in the issue reprinted here, no. 12, were Pyroman, the Black Terror, Doc Strange, and the American Eagle -- the first hero to appear in two issues of PEC!
Golden Age Men of Mystery and the other fine books published by Bill Black at AC Comics have done a great job presenting several of the better drawn tales featuring these characters. The stories reprinted here may not be up to those artistic standards, but they are entertaining nonetheless.
All stories are believed to be in the public domain*, despite the ownership of a similar, but different, Black Terror character by a certain multi-millionaire comic book titan who recently spent a lot of money on a few baseballs. The character presented here can best be descibed as "Nedor's Original Black Terror."
