Our Policy and Guarantees

Here is a copy of the letter we give each customer that adopts one of our puppies:

Dear New Parent (s), 

You picked up your new puppy on ___________.  His/her shots/vaccines are listed in the medical pamphlet we gave you as part of your package.  Please let your veterinarian see this but keep the records for yourself as well.  Your puppy should be seen within one month due to our 2^nd guarantee and to receive his 1^st booster vaccine.Guarantee #1:  You may bring back your puppy for full refund within one week of purchase (which would be ___________) for ANY reason unless there is a new problem due to your own negligence.We don’t want our puppies in a home they are not wanted in.  Please be sure all parties that apply have given consent to adopting this Shih Tzu puppy before you leave here today. Guarantee #2:  You may bring back your puppy for a full refund if your veterinarian finds a physical problem unknown nor disclosed at this time.  You must also bring in a note from the vet explaining the problem.  This must be done within one month of purchase or __________. Never hit or otherwise physically abuse your puppy.  Also you must not sell to an animal experimentation lab, unapproved breeder or a pet store. We have included a “blanket”, with the mother’s scent on it, to help your puppy through the first few nights.  He will miss his puppy family and may cry at first during the night.  Please do not keep the puppy in a small box or container at night since he is not used to this.  Also, please be sure that wherever you keep him, the area is puppy safe. Besides missing home, he is teething and will need things to gnaw on to help relieve the pain, (just like a baby). A sample of his food (IAMs small dry puppy food, the yellow bag) is included.  This type of food should be used for the 1^st week at least.  If you wish to change to another type, please check with your vet.  Also, when you change food, do this gradually to avoid and tummy upsets.  Your AKC papers will be sent after you have had the puppy for 1 month to give you time to take your new puppy to a veterinarian.  AKC Litter Number: ___________________  Congratulations!  We know you will love this breed!  We sure do.  Please call us if you have any questions
