Ditch Creek is a narrow canyon running North and South. Along the intermittent creek are multiple terraces. Many of these terraces show habitation. On top of the canyon is found chert that was collected and made into tools.

Preservation is generally good with bones being found. Stone tools that might have been used in food preparation were collected for blood analysis. This required that they not be handles by bare hands and quickly bagged to avoid contamination.

Future projects will focus on determining the location of the highest artifact densities and preserving the sites. Road construction, logging and cattle have all impacted the project area..
