SAN MARCO BOOKSTORE -- On the southside, in the renovated San Marco shopping district (near where I grew up) is this small but well-stocked shop. The proprietor is a bookman, and you can find interesting first editions and rare editions here. He also has record albums (real vinyls!) Very strong on Floridiana. TAPPIN BOOKMINE -- Of all the used book store owners, Doug Tappin is possibly the most knowledgeable bookman. His book store covers all categories, but he has some wonderful and rare editions, first editions, and other incunabula. He does book searches, and carries some new books.
