Wizards Editorial 9/11 Anniversary, 2004
It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since the horrible attack on our Country. The wounds are just as fresh as they were then. Our Country and the way we look at other Countries was forever changed on that day.
This Country is at a crossroads where Terrorism is rampant, and has no specific face or location for us to just "fire a missile". Our loss of Troops is now over 1000, and the fight against Terrorism continues. Make no mistake, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, even the Terrorist attack at the school in Russia, they will not stop, as long as our views and opinions ~ our individual Freedom and our right to free speech and free choice are challenged. It is not their way.
Terrorist don't discuss or debate. You disagree by word or by way of life, and you die. You don't have to agree or disagree with President Bush on the matter of deploying Military in Iraq or Afghanistan. Because you are free, because you are an American, you have a bullseye on your forehead to the Terrorists. That will not change with any changes in Political Office now or in the future. This is OUR World War.
We are humbled by the sacrifices of those on 9/11, as well as those brave Soldiers lost in Afghanistan, and Iraq. They gave the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom. Sadly, the list will go on. There will be many more losses. By the Terrorists hand, or in battle for the very Freedom so many take for granted. These soldiers saw the bigger picture, and what we are fighting for. And their sacrifices speak volumes about what it meant to them, for the safety and security of their families back home.
Terrorism can't be cut off at the knees. It needs to be eliminated. And only a show of resolve and force will we be able to make this world safer for our children. I say that as a mother, who knows very well her son may follow in his Daddy's Marine footsteps one day. God grant me the strength I need to accept his destiny if that is his choice. He will know WHY he is there, and we will never let a day go by that we don't tell him how PROUD we are of him, and the diligent fight that continues in the name of FREEDOM. We MUST reassure our Military that we are behind them at all cost!
I personally feel that President Bush whether intentional or otherwise, has found the very heart and hornets nest of the Worldwide Terrorist activity and Training in Iraq. The mountains of Afghanistan is where they go to hide in caves like the dogs that they are.
For those of you who still don't think that the battle on Terrorism needs to stay on the foreign shores, here's a little something I found, from President Harry S. Truman in dealing with the atrocities of Germany, and the Nazis Genocide. Our Soldiers already know this, and we as the American people need to stand behind them and give them our full support.
The Nazi's had their Genocide, the Terrorists want to eliminate all that do not view things their way. So are we not also potential victims of Genocide, by the Terrorists? I say don't give them the chance! Line em up in the crosshairs and Let Freedom RING!
Sadly since this page went up on September 11th 2001, some of those Countries that mourned with us, will not stand beside us and fight. We are grateful and thank those Countries that are with us in the fight to rid this world of Terrorism. It is a battle all Countries in this world can benefit from, if we stay vigilant.
Terrorism...doesn't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Independent, or a Member of the Organization for "Don't Give a Flying Figg". Just the fact that you have that many choices can get you blown up. It's no longer a "Political Issue", folks. It's personal. We are a threat and must be destroyed, simply because we exist. Does that narrow it down enough for you??
We thank the brave Men and Women of this Country, who help daily keep the fight overseas, and our homeshores monitored and safe. Thanks for everything you do!

Freedom and the American Way WILL Prevail!
This Country's backbone was created by adversity, determination, and the burning desire to protect our rights and our beliefs at ALL costs.
There is, and has always been a heavy price for Freedom. NOTHING builds a fire in the American soul like the intentional cold blooded murder of innocent lives.
We have great faith that this Country will fight back, and retaliate with a vengeful sword that is swift and powerful.
We stand behind our Country, our Flag, and our great President. The American Spirit CANNOT be destroyed. God Bless America!

Paris, France 2004 France ~ They not only turned their backs on us and the war on Terrorism, but wanted the thousands of US Soldiers from WWI and WWII dug up, and out of their cemetaries, because they were "stinking up their soil"! France's soil is soaked with the blood of Americans, fighting to keep France free in two seperarate World Wars. I say next time, let Germany have em! Scotland

Spain Spain let the Terrorists win. They pulled out of the Iraq war, after a horrific terrorist attack on Spains train system. Killing hundreds, with al-Qaida claiming responsibility. Still think al-Qaida and Iraq are not connected?? Switzerland
For the battle that lies ahead.... God give us strength. Grant us the Courage, and Determination to rid terrorism from this World. And Lord, help those poor fools that get in our way...

If there's any doubt in your mind why we are determined to go to War, and eradicate Terrorism..... you'll find the answers in the eyes of our children. Do it for them. Make this World a safer place for them, and their children. Better that ~ than to explain to them why we didn't.
