Welcome to Wizards Patriotic Pages

Freedom and the American Way WILL Prevail!

This Country's backbone was created by adversity, determination, and the burning
desire to protect our rights and our beliefs at ALL costs.

There is, and has always been a heavy price for Freedom.
NOTHING builds a fire in the American soul like the intentional cold blooded murder
of innocent lives.

We stand behind our Country, our Flag, and our Great Military Men and Women..
God Bless America!

May God be with the families of the lost, as with our Military
and their families.

May God sustain us, and keep us strong..... to keep the home fires
burning for all that we believe in, so we can welcome our Military home with the
respect, honor, and pride that they so justly deserve.

For the Land of the Free, and the home of the brave.

serving, or have served our Country. Past, Present, and Future.
We Salute you, and we Thank You!

Dear Critter ~  The weather was cold and damp, it was February 2004 in the
Daytona Infield. There was much to see, lots to do... and the cold damp weather
kept you in excruciating pain with your war wounds.

I remember you coming into the RV, getting something again for the pain, and as
you tried to go back down the RV steps, the pain made you stop in mid step, you
sighed heavily, and made the comment quietly, "Why did I ever go to war?"

I don't even know if you realized I heard you, but I looked up at you, and without
hesitation answered you, "Because we needed you."

Thank you so much for answering the call, and giving so much to our Country.
It didn't go unappreciated. I wish there was more we could do! I wish there was
a way more Veterans could know how grateful the people of this Country are!

Many times the wars, conflicts, and purposes don't make sense to us, but the fact
that brave young men and women go to war, sacrifice without question in the name of
Freedom shows how brave, honorable, courageous, and selfless these Soldiers are.
It shows the true backbone of this Country, and I'm so proud that this is the Land
of the Free, and the Home of the Brave BECAUSE of these brave soldiers.

So Critter, Thank YOU for making a difference. In Vietnam, and even in a classroom
of wide eyed 2nd Graders, who had all kinds of questions for you from scars,
to medals, to your "cool" tattoos. They know more about Veterans now thanks to you.
They know more about the Red Poppy, the Pledge of Allegiance, and American Pride.
Most of them in that class have Active Duty Parents. You helped add a new level
of respect for what Mommy or Daddy does, that they didn't realize before. But this
knowledge will go with them through transfers, and deployments, and even further
in their young lives.

See? All this time after the Vietnam War... We still needed you!
You CONTINUE to make a difference. And we THANK YOU!

And what about you folks sitting there at your monitor?? I bet there's a phone by
you there near that keyboard... and I bet you know of a Military Veteran, too.

Just pick up the phone, and say "Thanks". Our Veterans REALLY don't hear it
often enough, so we need to make every effort to tell them.

Veterans Day isn't just a day off from work, with no bills coming in the mail.
It's a day to remember, honor, reflect, and if you just make the effort, a day to
just find a Vet and say Thanks, okay?? It will mean SO much to them! Why even wait
until another Holiday?? Just say thanks today.

Trust me, The Vets already did the hard part.

Welcome Home...
Dedicated to: Critter, Shorty, Taz, and Doc

Friendships we've made thru the years over the internet. Our respect,
and love go out to these guys who've given so much in the defense of
our Country during the Vietnam Era.

Each in their own way have paid the price for our freedom, and it
continues to be a haunting part of their daily lives.

Thanks just doesn't seem enough to cover it, fellas... But we mean it
from the bottom of our hearts. The best thing we can do for you and
other Vets out there is to make sure you're NEVER forgotten, or swept
under the rug.

If my son ever decides to follow in his Daddys Marine footsteps, I hope
I have the grace to accept it, and the faith to handle it.

I have no doubt I'll have the Patriotism, and the Pride. His destiny
will be pre-destined, and in Gods hands. And all I can do, is give
my support unconditionally. Like we tell our son regularly...
"Land of the Free, Home of the Brave"
