Cats!

Round Robin Storybook
Genre Rules

- All stories that fall under the umbrella of the Cats! Genre should adhere
to the General Rules of The Round Robin
Storybook
- All Cats! stories must be about that most mysterious animal: the cat. To
this end, these stories must use cats or cat-kin as the main protagonists.
- All feline characters (living and historical) created for a Cats! storyline
must be based on actual cats (living or dead). The feline character should be
recognizable as being derived from a specific cat by people who know (or knew)
that cat.
- Composite characters may be created, as long as specific elements of the
composite may be recognized as having been derived from those cats.
- This round robin is open to all interested parties who:
- meet the criteria listed in the General Rules of The Round Robin Storybook,
and
- are currently or have previously been owned by one or more cats, or can
produce a letter of recommendation for a cat who is a close personal friend.
- Participants may create a character based on a cat who owns/ed or
knows/knew another participant's but only IF they get purrrmission from that
cat and/or his/her participant first.
- Common courtesy is expected and required. For example: you do not kill off
or make major changes to a character someone else has created without the
purrrmission of the cat and/or his/her participant.
