On The Water

The first launching of the boat was not captured in pictures.
The second time out was a crisp Saturday morning solo fishing trip to a favorite lake. I decided I needed time to get-to-know this new creation before I could fully enjoy it with others. I learned that my 5 speed electric trolling motor on the lowest speed, pushed the boat too fast for fishing and opted to row instead, which proved to be the correct decision

First fishing trip with the fog of a new day on the water.

Grandson went with me the second time out and caught his first ever fish.
I think he's hooked.......

We both did well that day with Grandson catching the first, biggest and most.

Nice fat rainbow trout.

Had a great time!

Finally got some pictures of the boat under oars.

It rows effortlessly, tracks straight and rides well in choppy water.

I enjoyed the building process with new skills to learn and challenges to meet.
The boat trailer tows well despite the longer length tongue added to accommodate the boat.
