We have another big May event coming up, too. Our class will graduate on May 25. We'll be celebrating from 7:00 until 10:00. Come help us welcome these new dancers into the mainstream of square dancing. We'll be watching for you and your friends.
Who are these fun -loving square dancers? They're the Gerrymanders of MD. We're mighty special because of our friendly nature and the happiness we have in square dancing with all our friends, old and new, every Wednesday night. You don't need a partner to come because we are singles and couples who love to dance and want you to have fun with us. Our home is the North Chevy Chase Christian Church on Kensington Parkway, just off Connecticut Avenue near the Beltway (I-495). Our class meets from 7:00 to 8:30 (angels always welcome) and the club dances from 8:30 to 10:00 at a mainstream-plus level. The final tip of the evening is an all-plus tip for those who are good plus dancers-so you see we present a challenge to ALL square dancers, from mainstream through plus!
The call is out to all former Jerrymanders, Gerrymanders, and friends! The annual Reunion Dance (We thrive at 25!) is June 8. Mark your calendars now! This will be a two-caller affair.
Remember the Gerrymanders as you make your square dance plans and drop by the North Chevy Chase Christian Church on any Wednesday evening after 7:00 to "angel" or 8:30 for mainstream-plus dancing.
