I've been lucky to spend some weekends painting on Appledore Island, one of the Isle of Shoals. This image came from one of those trips.

I am captured by the rugged beauty of Appledores rocky cliffs, looking east and dreaming of the next solid land across the wide Atlantic.

Lake Sunapee is the white shape in the middle looking from a ski trail at Mt Sunapee.

I spend so much time at Mt. Sunapee in the summer at the League of NH Craftsmens Fair,

it becomes unusual for me to consider the different seasons of the mountain.
