Chapter received a 20% increase in web traffic and class registration due to web changes.
Director of News Operations and New Media 2007 - 2008
WWBT/NBC Affiliate Richmond, VA
Led a diverse team of ten including graphic designers, IT managers, sales and marketing staff and news content managers from all three markets.
Worked with three Lincoln Financial Media stations to develop new interactive Internet “micro sites” to push topic specific content onto the web.
Stations included WBTV, CBS affiliate in Charlotte, WWBT, NBC affiliate in Richmond, WCSC, CBS affiliate in Charleston, South Carolina.
Developed websites and trained all staffers with TV news backgrounds with little to no web experience.
