There are three main access points to the Prairie. Visitors will want to use the main parking lot, which has an information board with trail maps and schedules. Workdays "officially" begin at the main parking lot, but often we use another entrance when it's closer to the specific work site. If we're using a different entrance there will usually be a person, or at least a sign, at the main lot to guide you to the workday.

Main Parking Lot.
From the north: Go south on Rt 59, past North Avenue (Rt 64). Turn  right (west) at Hawthorne Lane. In about 2 miles, turn left (south) on Industrial Drive. In a little less than a mile, there is a sign on the left marking the main entrance.
From the south and east: Take Roosevelt Rd (Rt 38) west, past Rt 59, and past Fabyan Parkway. Turn right (north) at Kress Rd and go over the railroad bridge. Turn right (east) on Downs. At the end of Downs, turn left (north), and look for the main entrance on the right.

MacQueen entrance.
Take Rt. 59 (north or south depending on where you're coming from) to Hawthorne Lane (about a mile south of Rt 64). Go west about a mile and a half until you see the King James BBQ place on the left, which is on the corner of MacQueen Drive. Turn left (south) and go to the end of the road.

Reed-Keppler Park (RKP).
We meet in the far back parking lot of Reed-Keppler Park. Take Rt. 59 (north or south depending on where you're coming from) to Washington St in West Chicago. Turn west and go about 0.5 mile to Arbor. Turn right on Arbor, to National. Turn left into the park and then go to the end of the road, at the construction site. Follow the driveway loop around to the right and park in the far lot.
