Blueberries
Blueberries should be stored in the refrigerator unwashed in a covered container as soon as you get them home. They usually keep well in the refrigerator for about a week. You can simply rinse them right before eating or using them.

To freeze the blueberries, do not wash; put them into freezer bags in the amounts you intend to use. To use the frozen berries, remove from the freezer and rinse in a colander. Frozen berries will last in the freezer for about a year.

Blackberries
Blackberries should be stored in the refrigerator, unwashed in an uncovered container; they can last from 2-5 days like this. You can simply rinse them right before eating or using them.

Blackberries also freeze well. Do not wash blackberries before freezing (this eliminates possible crushing by excess handling). Either simply put them directly in freezer bags or lay them on a cookie sheet and set in the freezer until firm, then put into a freezer bag to store. Frozen berries will last in the freezer for about a year.
