For wedding ceremonies, I usually provide classical music suitable for a religious service and tailored to the type of ceremony (Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, nondenominational, etc.) Music for a wedding ceremony generally includes 20-30 minutes of prelude music while guests are seated, one or two processionals for the entrance of the officiant, groom, best man, other groomsmen, bridesmaids and the bride, music for unity candle or communion if needed, and a recessional for the bridal party's exit.

RECEPTIONS & PARTIES

For receptions, rehearsal dinners and parties I usually play "easy-listening" background music which is a mixture of light classics and love songs from movies and Broadway shows. This can also include some Celtic and New Age music if requested.

PRICING

Each job is priced individually and extra charges for distance and holidays may apply. Prices for wedding ceremonies include one consultation, if needed, to select processional(s) and recessional for the ceremony. (No consultation is required for other kinds of performances.) I request a 50% deposit against client cancellation and a signed contract to hold the date. These are due within two weeks of request of services (time permitting) because of potential loss of other work that day. Balance is due two weeks prior to the event (time permitting).

OUTDOOR EVENTS

I accept work at outdoor locations April through October. The harp must be in complete shade on a smooth, level surface such as a patio, porch, sidewalk, etc. If no shade is available, a small tent must be provided by the client. If no surface is available, I can bring a wooden platform. I can provide a small amplifier if needed at no extra charge.
