This page is reserved for our most honored brothers who have achieved the pinnacle of "Thangdom" ... that is ... they are GOLFTHANG Champions who have earned the right to wear the coveted "Blue Jacket". While there have been many previous champions over the years, the tradition of the "Blue Jacket" started with the Fall Thang of 2001 with Champion, Frank Curl. A note of history regarding the "Blue Jacket" ... It is made of the finest powder blue polyester material available and was purchased at the exclusive Goodwill Industries Store in Carrollton Texas. The purchase price was rumored to have exceeded $11.50. The rabbit ears that accompany the "Blue Jacket" are worn by the defending champ at the next THANG and symbolize the chase that the rest of us must pursue as we attempt to catch and pass the defending champ.
